Dr. Marie Bui is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist and Award-Winning Cataract Refractive Surgeon who has served the Austin and Central Texas area since 2013. She was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in Port Arthur, TX. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree and obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She then completed her medical training at McGovern Medical School in Houston.

Dr. Bui completed her internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin and subsequently returned to the Texas Medical Center to complete her ophthalmology residency at the McGovern Medical School in Houston, where she served as Chief resident. She has been recognized as a "Super Doctor - Rising Star" by Texas Monthly Magazine, and a "Top Doctor in Ophthalmology" by Austin Monthly Magazine.
